Citroën India has unveiled its stylish offering yet — the exclusive Dark Edition lineup — bringing a bold and sophisticated design across the top variants of the C3, C3 Aircross, and the newly launched Basalt SUV Coupé.
Adding to the buzz, cricket icon and Citroën Brand Ambassador Mahendra Singh Dhoni took delivery of the very first Basalt Dark Edition, marking his official entry into the Citroën Owners Club. “The Dark Edition underscores our commitment to blending bold design with contemporary style and delivering distinct vehicles that reflect the evolving tastes of Indian consumers,” said Shishir Mishra, Brand Director, Citroën India.
Each Dark Edition vehicle is draped in a deep Perla Nera Black body colour, complemented by dark chrome accents on the Chevron badge, front grille, and body side mouldings. Gloss black finishes on bumpers and door handles further enhance the bold exterior.
Inside, the premium treatment continues with an all-black interior, featuring Metropolitan Black leatherette seats, a leatherette-wrapped instrument panel, and Carbon Black surfaces accented with Lava Red detailing. The package includes exclusive styling elements such as custom seat covers, grille embellishers, and dark chrome interior mouldings, offering a truly personalised in-cabin experience.
Available from April 10, 2025, through Citroën’s nationwide dealership network, the Dark Edition is set to capture attention with its aggressive styling, limited availability, and association with one of India’s most beloved sports icons. With this edition, Citroën strengthens its design-driven positioning and taps into a growing market of style-conscious automotive buyers.
