From trails to highways to city streets, your motorcycle’s dynamics are the most important part of the trip. There is the 2025 Yezdi Adventure which has been updated to offer you more as you plan your next trip. At its launch, Co-founder Anupam Thareja cut through the usual polish and presentations, opting instead to let the motorcycle do the talking. His words made clear that this was not just about nostalgia or sales. It was about purpose-built motorcycles that meet the evolving needs of Indian riders, without losing their visual or mechanical soul.
Design Language
As Thareja put it, design remains central to the Yezdi ethos. The visual language of the Adventure is more about balance than just ruggedness. The twin headlamps and twin tails are symmetrical, the tank forms are muscular but not overblown, and the motorcycle retains a kind of visual clarity. Six colour options offer choice without diluting the identity. Whether matte or gloss, the finish on each shade reflects a conscious design effort rather than an afterthought.

Classic Intent With Updated Fitment
The Yezdi Adventure now projects a serious stance. The twin LED headlights are both functional and distinctive, giving the motorcycle more presence on highways and trails. The tall rally-style beak, newly designed fuel tank with refreshed graphics, twin-pod taillight and updated cage give the bike its rugged aesthetic.
The 815mm seat height, 220mm ground clearance, 21-inch front wheel and pre-load adjustable rear monoshock combine to deliver balanced stance and terrain confidence. The low seat height will especially be the main selling point for the average buyer in India. These updates ensure that the bike feels just as composed navigating a flooded street as it does rolling over broken tarmac or rocky inclines.
Alpha2 Engine For Balance & Control
The Alpha2 liquid-cooled engine has a 334cc single-cylinder unit delivering 29.2 bhp and 29.9 Nm. It has been reworked for wider usability through changes to sprocket size, weight reduction and refined gear ratios. Shorter first and second gears deliver low-end tractability, crucial for climbing or crawling through uneven surfaces. Meanwhile, taller top-end gearing allows relaxed highway cruising.
This engine is tuned for linear torque, predictable output and thermal efficiency. The central exhaust routing improves heat management, making long hours in traffic or trail environments more manageable for both the rider and the hardware. Combined with the assist and slip clutch and a six-speed gearbox, the powertrain now supports both daily rideability and sustained touring needs.
Practical Electronics
The inclusion of switchable traction control is a significant first for this motorcycle. With three ABS modes, Road, Rain and Off-Road, the motorcycle allows the rider to tailor braking behaviour to different surfaces. The traction control system complements this by controlling wheel slip, especially useful on loose gravel or wet roads.
Thareja emphasised the value of intuitive design in the rider interface. The motorcycle’s adjustable windscreen and digital instrument console cater to both seated and standing riding positions. The instrument cluster now comes equipped with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and USB charging.
What It Means On Indian Roads
A reduction of 5 kilogrammes over the previous version might not sound substantial on paper, but it translates into crisper low-speed handling and better agility in city conditions. Thareja was quick to point out that this was achieved without compromising structural integrity. The optimisation is largely the result of smarter weight distribution, chassis design and efficient component packaging. In real-world usage, especially for less-experienced riders or those carrying luggage, this makes a tangible difference.
The Yezdi Adventure retains its bash plate and exoskeleton cage, which now integrates better with the frame. Combined with its high ground clearance, the bike remains confident over Indian speed bumps, potholes and unpaved roads. Stays looking like a tough off-road adv.
Starting from INR 2.14 lakh ex-showroom for the base trim, it remains accessible, especially considering its suite of tech and engineering updates. As Thareja stated that the goal was not to imitate global trends but to build a motorcycle that meets the needs of Indian riders, with a classic heart and a modern backbone.
