Kawasaki has revealed the 2026 Versys 650, bringing in the new year with a refreshed palette but no mechanical updates. The middleweight tourer now comes in three new colours—Blue, Red, and Green—while retaining its proven engine and features.
The motorcycle continues to use the same 649cc, liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder engine that delivers 66bhp and 61Nm, mated to a six-speed gearbox. Known for its smoothness and touring-friendly performance, the Versys 650 remains a reliable choice for long-distance riders.
Design elements such as twin-LED headlights, a sharp beak, a muscular fuel tank, and a minimal tail section return unchanged. The bike rides on 17-inch wheels and is built on a steel frame suspended by a USD fork and monoshock. Braking duties are handled by twin front discs and a single rear disc.
Kawasaki India is expected to launch the 2026 Versys 650 later this year with a marginal price increase over the current model, which is priced at INR 7.77 lakh (ex-showroom).
