Ampere, the electric two-wheeler brand under Greaves Electric Mobility, has announced a significant update to its flagship scooter, the Nexus. Now, all Nexus variants come with an industry-leading 5-year or 75,000 km battery warranty—whichever comes first.
The Nexus is equipped with a safe Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP) battery, offers a real-world range of 100–110 km, and can reach a top speed of 93 kmph. It also boasts the segment’s best suspension, aerodynamics, and a class-leading charging time of just 3 hours and 22 minutes.
This update follows a series of accolades for the scooter, including the India Design Mark and Best Electric Scooter Award. Notably, the Nexus recently set four national records after completing a 10,000+ km ride from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.
To further sweeten the deal, Ampere has introduced a financing scheme with the lowest down payments and interest rates starting at just 6.99%. With prices beginning at ₹1,14,900 (ex-showroom), the Ampere Nexus aims to provide a complete EV experience for Indian buyers.
