EKA Mobility, the subsidiary of Pinnacle Industries, has appointed B Anil Baliga as President.
The former Executive Vice President- Bus & Applications, VE Commercial Vehicles with an experience of four decades will lead the company’s expansion and report to Dr Sudhir Mehta, Founder and Chairman, EKA.
At VECV, Baliga was responsible for setting up the truck facility, transfer of technology, and capacity expansion. He also established a bus manufacturing plant and led specific applications developed for commercial trucks in various segments
Now At EKA, Baliga will focus on commercial electric vehicles ranging from 3-wheelers, LCV trucks in the sub-3-tonne range and a full range of buses from 9 m to 13.5 m.
He will also work on installing a state-of-the-art smart and lean unit, capable of manufacturing the complete range with a high level of relevant automation & IT integration leveraging Industry 4.0 and IoT.
