Ashok Leyland has bagged an order for 1,560 trucks from VRL Logistics to supply AVTR 3120 and AVTR 4420 TT models.

Shenu Agarwal, MD and CEO, Ashok Leyland, said, “Over the years VRL has worked very closely with us in developing new products and features suited to emerging needs of customers in the logistics industry.”

A press release from the vehicle maker noted that trucks will come fitted with the latest features and technology, allowing VRL to have reduced maintenance time, fewer stop-overs, and higher efficiency, resulting in better uptime and increased profitability.

Ashok Leyland launched its e-marketplace for used commercial vehicles earlier in the month. The e-marketplace will offer customers a range of features to easily find vehicles of their choice, such as verified vehicle images, validated documents, and evaluation reports. Additionally, with a few simple clicks, sellers can list their vehicles for liquidation.
