Audi India has announced a major expansion of its electric vehicle charging infrastructure with the completion of Phase II of the ‘Charge My Audi’ initiative pushing the network past 6500 charging points across the country The initiative which began as a first-of-its-kind effort in the luxury EV segment has now added more than 5500 new charging points along with 16 new infrastructure partners highlighting the company’s intention to improve ownership experience and enable long-distance EV usage in India.
The charging network now spans across 4700 plus locations in more than 850 cities and covers all 28 states and union territories according to the company. These additions include stations placed on highways city centres and commercial areas aiming to make daily use and travel planning more practical for Audi e-tron owners.
A key feature of the platform remains the integration with the ‘myAudi Connect’ app which enables real-time updates on charger availability and route planning with embedded start and stop controls. The initiative is powered by the eMSP platform from Numocity Technologies and seeks to provide users with a single digital interface connected to a wide network of public chargers. Audi’s growing list of partners now includes Shell India Adani Total Energies E-Mobility Charge Zone Statiq Gentari and several other lesser-known but regionally active providers.
Audi India has also extended its complimentary charging offer for e-tron customers across its partner network until the end of December 2025. This decision is likely to strengthen customer satisfaction in the short term although the sustainability of such incentives is uncertain given rising operational costs in the EV ecosystem.
