
Audi India has opened a new pop-up store in Kanpur, signalling its intent to deepen engagement in the growing luxury car market of Uttar Pradesh. Located at the Cawnpore Club, the store has been set up to offer customers a more intimate and interactive experience with Audi’s vehicles and accessories without the scale of a traditional showroom.
The store presents a single car display, a curated collection of genuine Audi merchandise and accessories, and digital tools that allow visitors to configure vehicles and compare features in real-time. The space includes lounge seating and a consultation area, creating a setting designed for one-on-one discussions rather than walk-in browsing.
Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head, Audi India, noted that Uttar Pradesh is an important market where demand for luxury cars is rising steadily, particularly in cities like Kanpur. Dhillon added that the pop-up concept allows Audi to connect with a clientele that values discretion and convenience while still expecting access to the latest automotive technologies.
Customers can explore performance packages, interior options and model configurations in a tailored setting that prioritises consultation over high-pressure sales. Audi’s decision to use temporary formats such as pop-up stores reflects a shift in strategy to reach prospective buyers in smaller yet high-potential cities where establishing a full showroom may not be commercially viable.
