Bajaj Auto has launched the all-new Chetak 3001, positioned as a significant upgrade to the best-selling Chetak 2903. Built on the company’s Chetak 35 Series platform, the 3001 introduces enhanced practicality and smart tech aimed at replacing traditional petrol scooters. It features a 3.0kWh floorboard-mounted battery that lowers the center of gravity, improves handling, and increases the boot space to 35 litres.
With a certified range of 127km and a 750W charger that powers the scooter from 0 to 80 per cent in just 3 hours and 50 minutes, the Chetak 3001 promises to be a highly practical option for urban riders. Customers can also opt for the TecPac, which adds convenience features like call management, music controls, Hill Hold Assist, and Guide Me Home lights.
Retaining its trademark full-metal body, the scooter is IP67-rated for water resistance and comes with the backing of Bajaj’s extensive service network. With the Chetak brand now leading electric scooter sales in India, the 3001 looks set to further strengthen Bajaj’s dominance in the EV space.
