BMW Group India has become the first luxury carmaker in the country to cross 5,000 electric vehicle deliveries, underscoring its leadership in the premium EV market.

The corridor passes through key routes including Delhi, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Pune, Hubballi, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, and Madurai, ensuring smooth EV travel across the North-South stretch. Open to all EV brands, the chargers offer capacities between 120kW and 720kW, and are integrated with the myBMW app for live status, route planning, and unified payment through BMW’s Charging Concierge.

BMW Group India now provides access to over 6,000 charging points nationwide through its partnerships, along with nearly 300 BMW Destination Chargers at hotels, resorts, and malls. Combined with home charger installation, smart e-routing, and comprehensive aftersales services, this forms one of the most extensive EV ecosystems in the country.

President and CEO Vikram Pawah said the achievement reflects BMW’s commitment to blending luxury with sustainability. “This is not just a number; it’s a testament to our pioneering spirit in e-mobility. With our new corridor, customers can enjoy sheer driving pleasure without range concerns,” he noted.

BMW’s EV portfolio, including the iX1 Long Wheelbase, i7, i5, i4, MINI Countryman E, and electric scooters CE 04 and CE 02, continues to drive strong demand. In H1 2025 alone, the brand recorded a 234% growth in EV sales, with electric models contributing 18% of overall volumes.

With this milestone and infrastructure boost, BMW Group India is reinforcing its role as the frontrunner in luxury electric mobility while accelerating adoption across the country.
