BRABUS has revealed its second hybrid supercar, the BRABUS 1000, based on the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 SE Performance. Delivering 986 bhp and an electronically limited 1,620 Nm of torque, the 2+2-seater coupe underscores the German manufacturer’s ability to combine extreme performance with advanced engineering. It accelerates from 0-100 kmph in 2.6 seconds and reaches 300 kmph in 23.6 seconds, with a top speed limited to 320 kmph.
The powertrain integrates a heavily reworked 4.5-litre twin-turbocharged V8 producing 785 bhp with an additional 201 bhp from a rear-mounted electric motor. This hybrid system is paired with a nine-speed SPEEDSHIFT MCT sports transmission and the 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system. A significant part of the BRABUS engineering philosophy remains the enlarged displacement engine, a hallmark since the 1980s, achieved through precision-machined internals and high-performance turbocharging.

The BRABUS 1000 benefits from a fully developed aerodynamic package designed in the wind tunnel, featuring carbon-fibre body components in matte or gloss finish. These include a revised front spoiler, grille inserts, rear diffuser and a fixed rear wing that increases downforce at high speeds. Custom 21-inch front and 22-inch rear Monoblock Z forged wheels with Continental or Hankook tyres complete the exterior enhancements, improving stability and handling.
The car’s cabin reflects BRABUS’s long-standing reputation for bespoke interiors. Finished in black leather with Dinamica microfibre headlining, it features detailed “Shell” quilting, illuminated carbon-fibre scuff plates, and heritage design cues marking the company’s founding year. Multiple carbon-fibre elements and red-accented components reinforce the car’s sporting focus.
As part of its exclusivity, the BRABUS 1000 is registered on the Aura Blockchain Consortium platform, ensuring digital certification of authenticity for owners. Pricing has not been officially disclosed but is expected to follow the brand’s ultra-exclusive positioning, with only limited units available. Pre-launch interest has already driven demand among existing BRABUS collectors, and the price is expected to increase once deliveries commence, reflecting both exclusivity and the vehicle’s status as one of the world’s most powerful hybrid production cars.
