Mobility services provider Chartered Speed has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with GIFT City to work together towards building a dynamic Electric Vehicles (EV) ecosystem in the city.
As part of the MoU, Chartered Speed will operate an electric bus service connecting GIFT City with Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar and provide electric bikes for people working, residing, and visiting GIFT City, a communication from the company stated.
The collaboration aims to enhance public transport facilities for commuting to and from the place and promote and strengthen EV infrastructure in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar region, the company said.
Tapan Ray, MD & Group CEO, GIFT City, said, “This is being done keeping the future in mind where EVs and hybrid vehicles will inevitably revolutionise the way people commute. The collaboration will also enhance connectivity options to and from GIFT City.”
