CNH has unveiled a strategic business plan with financial and operational goals aimed at positioning the company as a market leader across agriculture and construction equipment segments. Announced at its 2025 Investor Day, the plan places strong emphasis on product leadership, artificial intelligence-driven technology, dealer network upgrades and robust margin expansion by 2030.
The company is aiming for a 16–17 percent adjusted EBIT margin in agriculture during mid-cycle conditions by the end of the decade. To achieve this, CNH will focus on strengthening its Precision Tech offering and advancing Iron + Tech integration across its full product range. This means nearly doubling the contribution of high-margin Precision Tech sales as a percentage of agricultural net sales by 2030.
A key pillar of the strategy is CNH’s investment in AI-powered systems, including agronomic sensors, autonomous features and smart implements, all integrated into its FieldOps digital platform. By the end of the plan period, CNH targets 90 percent of Precision Tech systems to be developed in-house, aiming for greater control over technology and differentiation in the marketplace.
In the agriculture segment, CNH will fully refresh its tractor lineup from 20 to over 700 horsepower and further expand its harvesting equipment portfolio. These updates are designed to improve total cost of ownership by up to 15 percent and enhance competitiveness in key regions.
CNH also plans to strengthen its dealer network through a new dual-brand approach and a region-specific engagement model. Approximately 100 basis points of annual margin will be invested in growth-oriented dealers to ensure faster service and closer proximity to customers. This ‘New Deal’ with dealers is intended to improve customer experience and service quality while supporting a more agile go-to-market strategy.
On the construction side, CNH is targeting a 7–8 percent mid-cycle EBIT margin by 2030. This will be achieved through new product launches, manufacturing improvements, and digital integration. With brands like CASE Construction Equipment and New Holland Construction, CNH is already among the top five players in North and South America and plans to consolidate this position through expanded offerings and aftermarket services.
