Continental has been named “Germany’s Quality Winner 2025” in the car tyre category by the German Institute for Service Quality (DISQ), in collaboration with news channel n-tv. The recognition—presented for the first time this year—is based on a comprehensive consumer survey covering over 560 brands across 66 sectors, with nearly 45,000 customer opinions considered.
This accolade reflects Continental’s sustained focus on delivering high-quality products and services, rooted in its precision manufacturing and rigorous multi-stage testing protocols. Before any tyre reaches the market, it undergoes comprehensive trials at Continental’s global test sites. Testing includes varied road surfaces, weather conditions, and simulated driving scenarios using tools like the advanced “driver-in-the-loop” simulator at the Contidrom near Hanover, which also helps reduce raw material use in development.
Continental enforces stringent quality standards across its production chain—from sourcing top-grade raw materials to fully automated manufacturing and meticulous final inspections. The company also actively integrates market research and consumer feedback into ongoing product refinement.
This dedication is echoed in the brand’s strong performance in independent tire tests. The SportContact 7 was named test winner in seven out of eight evaluations in 2025 by industry leaders including ADAC, sport auto, and AUTO BILD sportscars. The PremiumContact 7 also secured top honours in British magazine Tyre Reviews’ summer tire test.
