Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV), a subsidiary of Daimler Truck AG, has entered into a strategic partnership with Gainwell Trucking Private Limited (GTPL), part of the Gainwell Group, to strengthen the sales and service network for BharatBenz mining trucks across India.
As an authorised channel partner, GTPL will focus on the sales and after-sales service of BharatBenz’s high-performance 3532CM (8x4) model, supporting key mining regions including Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and states in North, East, and North East India.
A major highlight of the collaboration is its emphasis on comprehensive after-sales support. GTPL will offer preventive maintenance, scheduled service, on-site repairs, and express servicing to minimise downtime. Coupled with Gainwell’s strategically located spare parts hubs, the initiative is expected to deliver fast turnaround and improve uptime for BharatBenz customers.
Rajiv Chaturvedi, President & Chief Business Officer, DICV, said the partnership is designed to address the specific requirements of the mining and infrastructure sectors. “It enables BharatBenz to deliver customised solutions and premium service experiences that enhance operational efficiency and productivity in mining,” he stated.
Sunil Chaturvedi, Chairman & Managing Director of GTPL, added, “This collaboration extends our footprint across major mining zones, bringing reliable, advanced transport solutions and unmatched service value to our customers.”
The BharatBenz 3532CM (8x4) is powered by the robust OM926 BS-VI OBD-2 engine, delivering 320 hp and 1,250 Nm torque. It comes with multiple load-body configurations, including 18/19 Cu.m Scoop for overburden and 27 Cu.m Box for coal, with both manual and AMT transmission options tailored for Indian mining conditions.
