Ducati India has inaugurated its first-ever service-only workshop in the country, located in the coastal state of Goa. This new facility, situated in Mapusa just off National Highway NH-66, serves a dual purpose, meeting the service demands of Goa’s growing Ducatisti community and acting as a maintenance stop for long-distance riders traversing India’s western and southern corridors.

Occupying 1,200 square feet, the workshop features two fully automated service bays and a customer lounge designed to reflect Ducati’s high service standards. It is dedicated exclusively to service, spare parts, and accidental repair support, while also offering display and fitment options for genuine Ducati accessories. Unlike traditional dealerships, this facility does not include motorcycle sales, signalling Ducati’s evolving service strategy in emerging Indian markets.

Bipul Chandra, Managing Director, Ducati India, highlighted Goa’s significance not just for its picturesque routes but also for its vibrant riding culture. The facility, according to him, is a step towards expanding Ducati’s high-quality service access beyond metros and into leisure-dense destinations.

The workshop is operated by Legacy Motors, which already runs a Ducati dealership in Pune. The Pune branch has earned recognition as the brand’s top-performing dealership in the country for two consecutive years. With this new chapter in Goa, Legacy Motors intends to bring the same level of precision, professionalism, and passion to the west coast, laying the groundwork for a deeper Ducati network in the region.

The initiative also signals Ducati’s intention to nurture a strong community of owners through infrastructure that complements their lifestyle. Plans are already underway to establish an official Ducati Owners Club (DOC) in Goa, further integrating local riders into the brand’s global network.
