Ducati and Lamborghini are set to reveal the latest product of their ongoing collaboration at the upcoming Milano Design Week on 9 April 2025. The partnership between the two Italian brands, known globally for their engineering excellence and high-performance design, marks a new chapter built on a shared vision of innovation and speed. With their common roots in Emilia-Romagna and a history of racing inspiration, the two manufacturers continue to blend automotive and motorcycling excellence with Italian craftsmanship at the centre.
The story of Ducati and Lamborghini’s collaboration began in 2020 with the launch of the Ducati Diavel 1260 Lamborghini. This limited-edition motorcycle, inspired by the Lamborghini Sian FKP 37, reimagined the muscular stance of the Diavel using design cues from the hybrid supercar. Key Lamborghini elements were incorporated, including forged wheels that echoed the Sián’s styling and bodywork finished in lightweight carbon fibre, a material common to both brands. Limited to just 630 units, this model reflected the shared design ethos of both marques and drew strong attention from collectors and enthusiasts.
Following its success, the two brands deepened their collaboration with the 2022 Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini, which took inspiration from the Lamborghini Huracan STO. Unveiled at the San Marino and Rimini Riviera Grand Prix, this model pushed the boundaries of cross-brand design even further. With a total of 693 units produced — 630 standard and 63 additional units reserved for existing Lamborghini customers — the bike embodied the boldness of Lamborghini’s road cars and the raw power of Ducati’s racing heritage. The special run offered owners of both brands an opportunity to own vehicles that reflected their shared passion for performance.

This year’s upcoming reveal at Milano Design Week is expected to carry forward that legacy, although details of the new model remain undisclosed. What is evident, however, is the continued commitment of Ducati and Lamborghini to express their distinctive personalities through a common creative lens. The emphasis on high performance, limited production, and standout design continues to be at the core of their collaboration. The partnership also underscores how Italian brands can maintain individual identity while finding common ground in aesthetics and technology.
These collaborations involve meaningful changes in components, material choices, and styling integration. Both projects so far have used carbon fibre extensively, and the models reflected careful aerodynamic and ergonomic considerations. The cooperation between Ducati’s Centro Stile and Lamborghini’s Centro Stile has been central to achieving these goals, ensuring that neither brand is overshadowed by the other but instead both benefit from the collaboration.
