Greaves Electric Mobility Limited (GEML) has set a new benchmark in the electric 3-wheeler space with the Eltra City XTRA, which covered 324 km on a single charge during the Freedom Ride 2.0 event. The run, which started from GEML’s tech centre in Bengaluru and concluded at Ampere’s factory in Ranipet, secured the vehicle a place in the India Book of Records for the longest distance travelled by an electric passenger 3-wheeler on a single charge.
This new achievement builds on the Eltra City’s earlier milestone of 225 km completed in 2024 and showcases the performance capabilities of Greaves’ latest electric platform.
