Enigma EV has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Hyderabad-based evPe to supply 1,000 electric two-wheelers for shared mobility and fleet operations. The rollout begins with an initial deployment of 200 e-bikes in Hyderabad and is expected to expand to other cities in southern India over the coming quarters. This development marks Enigma’s formal entry into the Hyderabad market and supports evPe’s integrated strategy for service-oriented fleet mobility.
The partnership is centred on fleet-grade vehicles that cater specifically to gig workers and last-mile delivery riders. According to Enigma, the machines are designed to meet high-demand conditions with reinforced chassis, efficient battery management systems, and fast servicing capabilities. These features align closely with evPe’s ecosystem approach, which combines vehicle leasing, financing, charging access, insurance, and end-of-life support on a single platform.
Enigma is aiming to sell 10,000 fleet vehicles by the end of the 2026 financial year, and the Hyderabad deployment is seen as a critical step in achieving that target. Anmol Bohhre, Co-founder and CEO, Enigma EV, stated that the company has already delivered vehicles to institutions such as the Indian Army, Indian Air Force, and BARC, and is now expanding its commercial fleet footprint aggressively. Rohan Yeggina, Founder and CEO, evPe, highlighted that the first 200 bikes are already operational in Hyderabad, pointing to a strong start that demonstrates both demand and operational readiness.
