Esmito's L3 and L5 category batteries have attained AIS156 Phase 2 certification, a vital requirement for EV manufacturers operating within India.
A press release from Esmito says the certification guarantees utmost safety of the company’s batteries. It also reaffirms its compliance with automotive industry regulations.
Hasan Ali, Co-founder, Esmito, said the certification was a significant step in making it one of the larger organised players in the EV battery ecosystem.Esmito has multiple models across the 48 to 72V spectrum.
According to the company, availability of affordable and technologically advanced EV models in the L3 and L5 categories has fuelled growth in the e3W category.
