Euler Motors has announced its entry into the commercial passenger EV category with the launch of NEO by Euler, a new brand dedicated to electric auto-rickshaws. The first product under this umbrella NEO HiRANGE has been introduced at an introductory ex-showroom price of INR 309,999. The company plans to roll out its passenger EVs across 50 cities in the next three to four months to capture a bigger share of India’s last-mile connectivity market.
Euler Motors says the NEO HiRANGE was built after two years of R&D and direct engagement with over 10,000 auto drivers. The vehicle has been engineered for long-range performance, reliability in diverse weather and durability for heavy urban use.
The NEO HiRANGE is available in three variants: MAXX, PLUS, and the base HiRANGE. The top-spec MAXX offers a real-world range of more than 200 km with a charging time of 3.25 hours, while the PLUS variant delivers 170+ km and the entry-level version 130+ km. All models are powered by a 9 kW peak motor delivering 65 Nm of torque, supported by hill-assist, real-time diagnostics and GPS-based anti-theft protection. The vehicles come with a warranty of up to six years or 1.75 lakh km for high-usage operations.
Saurav Kumar, Founder and CEO, explained that the new EVs are intended to offer predictable range, improved passenger comfort and steady income opportunities, making them a practical upgrade over conventional autos.
