Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) has appointed Shailender Luthra as the new State Chairperson for its Delhi Chapter. Luthra will be responsible for engaging with authorised automobile dealers across Delhi and working in close coordination with various ministries and departments under the Delhi Government to advocate for the interests of the automotive retail community in the National Capital Territory.

Bringing more than thirty years of business experience to the role, Luthra has a deep understanding of the operational and strategic nuances of the automotive industry. He currently leads the Brite Group, which operates dealerships for brands such as Skoda, Nissan, and Royal Enfield across the Delhi NCR region. His appointment is expected to bring fresh perspective to FADA’s efforts at a time when the sector faces challenges linked to digital transformation, environmental responsibility, and shifting consumer expectations.

Shailender Luthra highlighted that leading the FADA Delhi Chapter is an opportunity to re-imagine the role of mobility in the capital. He emphasised the need for Delhi to set an example for the rest of India by focusing on a model of auto retail that is sustainable, transparent, and digitally advanced. He outlined a broad vision where customer trust, environmental accountability, and entrepreneurial resilience are key pillars, signalling a departure from traditional incremental improvements towards a more comprehensive agenda for change.
