Greaves Electric Mobility Limited (GEML), the electric mobility arm of Greaves Cotton Limited, has appointed Vikas Singh as its new Managing Director, effective 2nd June 2025. This strategic move is aimed at accelerating the company’s next phase of growth in India’s fast-evolving electric vehicle (EV) sector.
His proven track record in navigating regulated environments and driving agile transformations positions him well to steer GEML toward its long-term ambitions.
In his new role, Singh will lead the company’s operations, with the current management team reporting to him. His appointment underscores GEML’s commitment to democratising smart, sustainable mobility solutions for Indian consumers.
“In line with our long-term strategic vision and continued focus on strengthening leadership for future growth, the Board of Greaves Electric Mobility Limited has approved the appointment of Vikas Singh as Managing Director,” the company said in a statement.
