Gro Digital Platforms, the joint venture between Ashok Leyland and Hinduja Leyland Finance, has partnered with IDFC FIRST Bank to roll out FASTag services aimed at improving fleet efficiency and simplifying toll payments for commercial vehicle operators. The memorandum of understanding was signed to support the integration of digital tolling through Ashok Leyland’s dealer network while enhancing the company's value-added offerings for its growing ecosystem of freight and fleet operators.
The new service is positioned to benefit a wide range of transporters by offering a single-window FASTag solution that integrates real-time toll payments, trip monitoring, and improved operational transparency. Through this alliance Gro Digital Platforms will distribute IDFC FIRST Bank FASTags and enable fleet owners to track expenses digitally reducing turnaround times at toll booths and minimise dependence on cash-based payments. The move underlines a growing trend towards connected logistics and digital infrastructure within India’s road freight sector.
Mudasar Mohamed, CEO, Gro Digital Platforms, stated that this partnership reinforces their broader strategy to offer a technology-led mobility ecosystem for India’s commercial transport sector. He highlighted that the integration of FASTag with roadside assistance adds another layer of convenience for fleet operators and strengthens Gro’s positioning in the digital mobility landscape.
