Hero Lectro C1 and L1

Hero Lectro, the e-cycle brand of Hero Cycles, has launched four variants of its existing C and F series line-ups. Dubbed C1, C5x and F1, these are priced between INR 32,999 and INR 38,999.

Featuring aluminium 6061 alloy frames, these e-cycles can be ridden in both city and off-road conditions. According to the company, the aluminium frame provides structural strength and corrosion resistance properties

Removable batteries have been offered with the C e-cycle variant and can be unplugged when not in use. Charging can then be done with a normal socket and plug. Hero Electro says a range of up to 30 km can be had on a single charge.

Anti-skid alloy pedals, aerodynamic forks, IP67 and IP65 dust, and waterproof ratings are other features of the new e-cycles. The C1, C5x, and F1 also come equipped with dual wall alloy rims in different dimensions, RFID key locking and LED display units.

Aditya Munjal, Director, Hero Cycles, said e-cycles fulfil the desire for adventure while also being the best bet in terms of health, sustainability and being easy on the pocket. As part of the retail effort, the company is using its D2C website, the network of over 600 dealers, e-commerce channels and exclusive experience centres and zones in Delhi, Kolkata, and Chennai.
