Hero MotoCorp Gives Life To Its EVs By Unveiling New Brand Vida

The first product from the brand is slated to hit the market on July 1, 2022, to coincide with the birth anniversary of Dr Brijmohan Lall, Chairman Emeritus of Hero MotoCorp.

The leading Indian 2W manufacturer, Hero MotoCorp, unveiled its new brand identity for its EV and emerging mobility solutions - ‘Vida, Powered by Hero.’ The first product from the brand is slated to hit the market on July 1, 2022, to coincide with the birth anniversary of Dr. Brijmohan Lall, legendary Chairman Emeritus of Hero MotoCorp.

Declaring this at the Carbon Neutral event, the company also announced a $100 Million Global Sustainability Fund. 

According to a press release from the company, the fund will aim to establish global partnerships, spearheaded by the BML Munjal University (BMU) and Hero MotoCorp, to nurture more than 10,000 entrepreneurs’ ESG solutions that have a positive impact on the planet.

The production of Vida models will be done at the company’s ‘Green’ manufacturing facility in Chittoor, India, it said.

Dr Pawan Munjal, Chairman and CEO, Hero MotoCorp, said, “Vida means life, and the brand’s sole purpose is to create a positive impact on the world and move us all forward in meaningful ways. In only 17 weeks from today, we will unveil our Vida platform, products and services to make the world a better place.”
