Honda has unveiled a new electric scooter for European markets, called the CUV e. Designed primarily for urban mobility, the CUV e boasts improved performance, greater range, and enhanced practicality. It is powered by a 6kW motor and draws energy from two swappable Mobile Power Pack e batteries, allowing a top speed of 83kmph and a claimed range of 70km on a full charge.
Targeted at city commuters, the CUV e rides on a 12-inch front wheel and comes equipped with telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock. The flat floorboard ensures comfortable foot placement, while under-seat storage and an optional top box enhance practicality for daily use. Honda has not yet confirmed its price, but given its specs and market positioning, it is expected to compete in the premium urban EV segment in Europe.
Although the CUV e is currently announced for European markets, it could be considered for other regions in the future, especially given the growing demand for compact electric scooters in urban environments.
