Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has announced key updates to its premium SUV, the Hyundai Alcazar, aimed at enhancing its value proposition and expanding customer choice. The company has introduced a new Corporate variant in the diesel powertrain, featuring a voice-enabled smart panoramic sunroof—a popular feature now made more accessible. This variant is available with both 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission options.
In addition, Hyundai has broadened its automatic transmission offerings by introducing the 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) in the Prestige Petrol variant of the model. This move is targeted at customers seeking a more responsive and refined automatic driving experience at a competitive price point.
Commenting on the latest enhancements, Tarun Garg, Whole-Time Director and Chief Operating Officer, HMIL, said, “The introduction of the Corporate variant in diesel and the DCT option in petrol reflects our focus on delivering a personalised, premium SUV experience.”
