The model’s consistent updates, wide variant availability and expansive dealer network have helped it remain competitive even as other manufacturers have launched newer models in the segment. That it now leads the country’s passenger vehicle market, not just the SUV segment.
Hyundai Motor India’s Chief Operating Officer, Tarun Garg, attributed the model’s success to customer loyalty and its emotional connection with buyers. He noted that the Creta’s leadership status in the first half of 2025 is more than just a sales figure and reflects the long-standing relationship the model has built with Indian consumers. His remarks align with Hyundai’s current strategy of combining product innovation with premium positioning across all customer touchpoints.
