Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has surpassed the 1.1 million mark in sunroof-equipped vehicle sales over the past five years, highlighting Indian consumers’ growing preference for global features in mass-market cars.
Tarun Garg, COO of HMIL, called the achievement a reflection of the evolving expectations of Indian car buyers and reaffirmed Hyundai’s goal of making premium features more accessible. Currently, 12 out of Hyundai’s 14 models offer sunroofs, with the company even localising panoramic sunroof production to make it more affordable.
