The market rumours of Toyota Innova Crysta Diesel being discontinued are not true. Toyota India has clarified the same and noted that it is not discontinuing the Innova Crysta Diesel in India but temporarily stopped taking orders for the diesel variant. The same has been done due to high demand pattern which has resulted in an increased waiting period for the diesel variant of Innova Crysta. The OEM further noted that it has sold close to a million Innovas in India so far. 'As a customer-centric company,  we are making efforts to supply the vehicles to customers who have already made bookings with our dealers. However, we will continue to take orders for the Petrol variant of Innova Crysta,' read a statement released by Toyota Kirloskar Motor India. It is also rumoured that the OEM is planning to introduce Innova Hycross in November 2022. This yet-to-be-launched latest car from Toyota will feature a hybrid powertrain quite similar to the already introduced Toyota Hyryder.
