Jeep India has introduced the Wrangler Willys ‘41 Special Edition as a tribute to the original 1941 Willys that laid the foundation for the brand’s off-road reputation. Limited to 30 units nationwide, this collector’s model draws a direct link between Jeep’s wartime origins and its present-day evolution as a premium off-road brand. Offered in an exclusive military-inspired '41 Green' colour, the special edition is marked by a prominent 1941 decal on the hood and distinctive heritage cues that make it instantly recognisable.
Priced at a premium of INR 1.51 lakh over the standard Rubicon and with the optional accessory pack priced at INR 4.56 lakh, the Wrangler Willys '41 Special Edition caters to a niche segment that values heritage and rarity over conventional luxury. Its visual throwback, combined with purposeful features, offers a clear distinction from more commercially driven limited editions.
The Willys ‘41 Edition is based on the Rubicon variant and features a series of additions intended to enhance both its visual identity and functional capability. Equipment such as powered side steps, grab handles for both front and rear passengers, all-weather floor mats, and a digital video recorder system for both front and rear provide practical value without compromising on the Wrangler’s core off-road focus. Buyers can also opt for a set of adventure-specific accessories, including a Sunrider roof, roof carrier, and integrated side ladder, offered at a combined additional cost.
