The Board of Directors, at its meeting held on 23rd June 2025, appointed Jeffrey Mark Overly as the new Chairman of Sona Comstar. Over the past five years, he has consistently demonstrated active engagement, attending all Board and Committee meetings despite time zone differences, and has made significant contributions to strategic discussions and decision-making processes.
With over 43 years of operational experience, Overly holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management from the University of Cincinnati and a Master’s in Business from Central Michigan University. He retired from the Blackstone Group in 2018, where he was an Operating Partner in the Corporate Private Equity Group in New York. Post-retirement, he continues to serve on the boards of several Blackstone portfolio companies.
During his tenure at Blackstone, Overly played a key role in supporting global portfolio companies with lean operational excellence, supply chain improvements, and strategic initiatives. Prior to that, he held senior leadership roles including Vice President of Global Fixture Operations at Kohler Company, where he oversaw manufacturing and global supply chain operations, and spent 25 years with General Motors and Delphi Corporation in various operations and engineering roles with international responsibilities.
Overly also serves as an Independent Director on the boards of Performance Food Group, Fortrex Inc., Comstar Automotive USA LLC (a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company), Sabre Industries Inc., and Supply One Inc.
