JK Tyre & Industries Ltd brought its premium ambitions into sharper focus with a bold public showcase of its Levitas tyre range during the ‘Fast & Fabulous: The Supercar Catwalk’ event held in Mumbai. The event aims to reposition the brand not just as a tyre manufacturer but as a lifestyle entity aligned with speed, fashion and high-performance engineering.
The Mumbai showcase gathered prominent figures from the automotive and motorsport sectors, including JK Tyre’s Managing Director Anshuman Singhania, Racing Promotions Chairman Akhilesh Reddy and rally veteran Gaurav Gill. With its two offerings, the Levitas Ultra for luxury vehicles and Levitas XTREME for ultra-high-performance applications, JK Tyre is responding to growing domestic demand for tyres that can complement imported supercars and high-end sedans. By engineering these tyres with advanced materials and precision treading, the brand hopes to compete with established global players who have historically dominated this segment.
Adding an edge to the evening was JK Tyre’s announcement of a recent high-altitude drift feat, where drifter Sanam Sekhon performed a controlled drift on Levitas XTREME tyres at Umling La Pass, the world’s highest motorable road. The stunt highlighted the tyre’s performance claims, reinforcing its durability and control even in extreme conditions.
Also present at the event was Gautam Singhania, Chairman and Managing Director of Raymond Group. He highlighted that Fast & Fabulous is a unique celebration of detail, design and daring, ideals that Raymond has championed for a century. The event is a reflection of new age India and its unbridled ambition.
