JSW Sarbloh Motors, a subsidiary of JSW Defence Private Limited under the JSW Group, has entered into a strategic joint venture with Tomcar USA, a global leader in high-performance all-terrain vehicles (ATVs).
The venture is aimed at supporting India’s Armed Forces, Central Armed Police Forces, State Police units, and strategic industries that require ultra-durable off-road mobility solutions. Under the arrangement, JSW Sarbloh Motors will indigenise, manufacture, assemble, and support the TX range at its Chandigarh facility. The first India-assembled units are expected by early 2026, with field trials for defence and paramilitary agencies scheduled in the coming months.
Parth Jindal of JSW Group called the collaboration a milestone in enhancing India’s defence capabilities, noting that the TX platform is engineered to meet the toughest demands of security agencies. Jaskirat Vladimir Singh Nagra, CEO and Founder Director of JSW Sarbloh Motors, added that the alliance represents “a strategic alignment of vision and purpose,” aimed at delivering world-class tactical platforms tailored for Indian conditions.
Tomcar USA leaders echoed the significance of the partnership, with Founder Ram Zarchi highlighting the blend of Tomcar’s mission-grade engineering and JSW’s advanced manufacturing strength. Interim CEO Mark W. Farage underscored the platform’s potential beyond defence, pointing to opportunities in mining, timber, border patrol, search and rescue, and agriculture.
With this joint venture, JSW Sarbloh Motors and Tomcar USA are set to position India as a hub for extreme off-road tactical vehicles, meeting both defence and commercial demands while expanding Tomcar’s footprint in right-hand-drive markets worldwide.
