Jupiter Electric Mobility (JEM), the electric vehicle arm of Jupiter Wagons Limited, has entered into a strategic partnership with Delhi-based EV-first logistics platform Pickkup to accelerate clean transportation in the logistics sector.
The partnership was officially launched with the first batch delivery of JEM TEZ vehicles, following extensive pilot trials. The trials demonstrated impressive real-world performance, with the e-LCVs consistently achieving ranges above 190 km—and peaking at 220 km—on single charges, across challenging operating conditions. Key routes included high-traffic urban areas and intercity corridors such as Delhi to Chandigarh.
Vivek Lohia, Managing Director, Jupiter Group, said, “Our alliance with Pickkup reflects our commitment to delivering next-generation EVs that combine performance, sustainability, and profitability. Together, we’re building a logistics ecosystem that’s clean, tech-driven, and future-ready.”
Ankush Sharma, Co-founder and CEO of Pickkup, praised the JEM TEZ’s segment-defining capabilities, citing its CCS2 charging compatibility, 30% improved range, and payload support of 1,050 kg as standout features. “These trucks will now drive our intercity operations with daily runs of up to 250 km, significantly boosting earnings potential,” he added.
Pickkup, already active across NCR and Tier-2 markets like Mohali and Chandigarh, plans to scale operations using JEM’s vehicles for last- and mid-mile deliveries. With a fleet comprising both three- and four-wheel commercial EVs, Pickkup provides tailored on-demand, corporate, and warehousing solutions with a strong focus on clean mobility.
JEM’s support for India’s clean mobility goals is further reflected in its Pithampur-based EV manufacturing facility, with a capacity to produce 8,000–10,000 e-LCVs annually and room for future expansion. This partnership not only reinforces domestic EV manufacturing but also advances broader goals of carbon reduction, energy security, and sustainable economic growth.
