Kia India has announced that its popular family mover, the Kia Carens, has surpassed 200,000 unit sales within 36 months of its launch, making it one of the fastest-selling vehicles in its category.

The demand for the Carens is particularly strong in its top trims, which account for 24% of sales, driven by features such as a sunroof, multi-drive modes, ventilated seats, and Kia Connect. The petrol variant leads in popularity with 58% of total sales, while diesel accounts for 42%. Additionally, 32% of customers have opted for automatic and iMT variants, highlighting the growing preference for convenience-driven transmission choices. The sunroof variant has attracted 28% of buyers, and 95% of total sales have come from 7-seater models, emphasizing its appeal as a true family-oriented vehicle.

Beyond the domestic market, the Kia Carens has also gained international recognition, with 24,064 units exported to over 70 countries. The strong global demand underscores Kia’s commitment to delivering world-class mobility solutions tailored to diverse customer needs. With its growing success in India and abroad, the Carens continues to be a cornerstone in Kia India's portfolio, further solidifying the brand’s presence in the competitive MPV segment.
