Kia India has launched the new EV6 in the Indian market at a starting price of INR 65.9 lakh (ex-showroom) in five exterior colours—Snow White Pearl, Aurora Black Pearl, Wolf Grey, Runway Red, and Yacht Blue Matte. With enhanced safety, design, performance, and connected technology, the refreshed EV6 aims to strengthen Kia’s position as a frontrunner in India’s electric mobility transition.

The new EV6 is offered in a single GT Line variant with All-Wheel Drive (AWD), featuring a next-generation 84-kWh battery that delivers an impressive 663 km range (ARAI MIDC Full)—a significant improvement over its predecessor. Powered by 325 PS and 605 Nm of torque, the EV6 promises improved performance while offering ultra-fast charging capabilities, going from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes using a 350kW charger.

Visually, the new EV6 adopts a sportier and more aggressive front design, inspired by Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ philosophy, with new Star Map Graphic DRLs, sequential indicators, and GT Line bumper. The exterior is further elevated by 19-inch aerodynamic alloy wheels and a star-map LED rear lighting cluster, enhancing its futuristic appeal.

Inside, the cabin reflects premium craftsmanship with enhanced digital integration. A dual 12.3-inch panoramic curved display, a new double D-cut steering wheel with hands-on detection, and Ultrafabrics upholstery elevate the in-car experience. The updated Kia Connect 2.0 suite includes over 100 connected features, remote diagnostics via Kia Connect Diagnostics (KCD), and over-the-air (OTA) updates for 34 ECU controllers.

A standout addition is the Digital Key 2.0 with Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology, allowing users to lock, unlock, and start the vehicle using a compatible smartphone—without even taking it out of their pocket. The digital key can also be securely shared via text message, adding a new level of convenience.

On the safety front, the new EV6 comes equipped with ADAS 2.0, offering 27 advanced safety and driver assistance features, including five new autonomous capabilities such as Forward Collision Avoidance (FCA) 2.0 - Junction Turning and Crossing, Lane Change Assist, Evasive Steering Assist, and Lane Follow Assist (LFA) 2.0. These systems ensure enhanced driver confidence, especially in complex traffic conditions.

Joonsu Cho, Chief Sales Officer, Kia India, stated, “The new Kia EV6 reflects our vision of delivering next-level electric mobility. With its upgraded battery, advanced safety features, and exceptional design, we are confident it will redefine expectations in India’s premium EV market.”
