
Kia India will open bookings for its first made-in-India electric 7-seater, the Carens Clavis EV, starting July 22, 2025. Customers can reserve the vehicle via Kia’s official website or at dealerships by paying INR 25,000. The Carens Clavis EV is positioned as a mass-premium electric RV, offering a blend of performance, space, technology, and affordability. It comes with two battery options – 42kWh (404km range) and 51.4kWh (490km range), and supports 100kW DC fast charging that charges the battery from 10% to 80% in just 39 minutes.
Powered by electric motors with outputs of 126kW and 99kW, the vehicle features four-level regenerative braking and advanced safety with ADAS Level 2 (20 autonomous features) and 18 Hi-Safety technologies. The connected experience is enhanced by 90 smart features and a 26.62” Dual Panoramic Display Panel. Available in four variants and six exterior colors, the Carens Clavis EV is part of Kia’s larger strategy to expand sustainable mobility solutions in India, supported by its 250+ EV-ready workshops and digital tools like K-Charge on the MyKia app.
