Kinetic Green Energy and Power Solutions Limited of India has partnered with Italy’s Tonino Lamborghini to unveil a premium range of electric golf and lifestyle carts for the global market. The iconic red shield bearing the bull symbol will feature on these carts, which will be produced at Kinetic Green’s facility near Pune. The carts will be sold in configurations ranging from two to eight seaters, aimed at high-end applications such as resorts, airports, gated communities and corporate campuses.
The launch includes two model lines, the Genesis Range, which leans on traditional Italian design cues, and the Prestige Range, which presents a more futuristic, ultra-premium interpretation. Both models focus on delivering a blend of aesthetics and performance. The carts feature a MacPherson suspension setup, four-wheel hydraulic brakes, and are powered by lithium-ion batteries offering up to 150 kilometres of range. A wireless charging system, hill-hold assist, LED headlights, electronic parking brake and TFT dashboard are part of the equipment list.
The joint venture, named Kinetic Green Tonino Lamborghini Pvt Ltd, plans to address both golf-centric and broader lifestyle uses of electric carts, targeting luxury resorts, private estates and urban developments. Dr Sulajja Firodia Motwani, CEO, Kinetic Green, emphasised that the current golf cart market, estimated at USD 5 billion, is ripe for disruption, especially as it extends into lifestyle and last-mile applications.
Ferruccio Lamborghini, Vice President, Tonino Lamborghini, added that the partnership combines Italian design with Indian efficiency and industrial scale. The company aims to expand to 30 countries within the next five years, representing 80 percent of the global market. Distribution partners have already been appointed across India, the UAE and Maldives, with further plans for expansion into Southeast Asia, Europe and the US.
