KTM, the world’s No. 1 premium motorcycle brand, has expanded its street line-up in India with the launch of the all-new KTM 160 Duke. This marks the company’s debut in the premium 160cc motorcycle segment, aimed at making its “Ready to Race” DNA accessible to a broader audience of sports bike enthusiasts.

The KTM 160 Duke is powered by a lightweight 164.2cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 19Ps and 15.5Nm of torque. It carries KTM’s hallmark engineering elements, including a split trellis frame, WP Apex forks with a hollow axle, lightweight bionic wheels, and a 5-inch LCD display. Braking is handled by a 320mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc.

Positioned as an entry point into KTM’s naked street portfolio—which now ranges from 160cc to 400cc—the model blends performance, everyday rideability, and aggressive design. KTM expects it to appeal to first-time premium motorcycle buyers and expand its reach within the sport segment.

Manik Nangia, President – Probiking, said the new 160 Duke distills KTM’s legendary DNA into a more accessible format without sacrificing the performance, precision, and attitude that define the brand.
