Lamborghini has officially launched the Temerario in India. The supercar delivers a combined 907 bhp, making it one of the most powerful production models the brand has released. Its hybrid system, developed over five years, incorporates a new 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine combined with three electric motors. The result is a machine capable of reaching 100 kmph in 2.7 seconds and achieving a top speed of 343 kmph. Prices start at INR 6 crore ex-showroom, with a plethora of customisations as options.
This is Lamborghini’s second High-Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV) to be launched in India after the Revuelto and the Urus SE, marking the brand’s full transition to hybrid models under its Direzione Cor Tauri strategy. Francesco Scardaoni, Regional Director for Asia Pacific, acknowledged the importance of India in Lamborghini’s global growth plans and confirmed that the Temerario would further cement the brand’s presence in this market.
The V8 engine, with a redline of 10,000 rpm, combined with electric torque-filling from the front-mounted motors, delivers both immediacy and high-revving drama. A new lightweight chassis and a compact lithium-ion battery placed centrally contribute to the low centre of gravity and improved weight distribution, enhancing handling on both road and track.

Lamborghini has also redefined driver engagement through its 'Pilot Interaction' interface, which includes multiple digital displays and mechanical inputs such as drive-mode selectors and launch control. The Temerario offers thirteen driving experiences, including new hybrid-specific modes and a dedicated Drift Mode, reflecting the company’s intent to preserve its performance character in a more complex engineering environment.
The Temerario follows Lamborghini’s sharp, recognisable design language while incorporating functional aerodynamic elements and lightweight construction. It debuts a new hexagonal light signature, integrated aero channels, and a visibly exposed powertrain under a transparent cover, emphasising both performance and engineering. The brand also offers extensive personalisation through its Ad Personam programme, with over 400 body colours and multiple interior configurations.
