Mahindra Construction Equipment (MCE) has launched its upgraded CEV-V compliant range with the introduction of new versions of the EarthMaster SX Backhoe Loader and the RoadMaster G100 Motor Grader. The new models come with higher-powered engines aligned with CEV-V emission standards and bring notable upgrades in comfort, productivity and operational assurance.
The new EarthMaster features a 74 HP engine along with a redesigned cabin that is larger and more ergonomic. It aims to reduce operator fatigue while increasing efficiency over long working hours. The RoadMaster G100, which now features a 102 HP engine delivering 440 Nm of torque, is positioned to support more demanding road construction applications including national and state highways. With this, Mahindra seeks to reinforce its claim to leadership in the compact grader segment, where the G100 already commands over 22% market share.
Both machines are backed by Mahindra’s newly introduced guarantees that reflect a more performance-oriented promise. These include a 48-hour Uptime Guarantee with monetary compensation for delays, a Highest Productivity per Litre Guarantee, and a Guaranteed Highest Fuel Efficiency in Standard mode. These commitments are rare in the Indian construction equipment space and could shift expectations for aftersales support and machine uptime.
Alongside the new models, Mahindra will continue to offer the EarthMaster SXe (55 HP) and the RoadMaster G90 and G80 graders with 74 HP engines. The entire range is now aligned to the CEV-V regime.
Supporting this upgraded range is a growing network of over 115 touchpoints across India, including more than 50 full-service dealerships and 15 authorised Saathi+ centres, ensuring spares and service availability even in remote locations.
