Mahindra has launched the BE 6 Batman Edition, a limited-production electric SUV priced at INR 27.79 lakh (ex-showroom, without charger and installation), created in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products. Restricted to just 300 units, the model draws inspiration from Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy. Bookings will open on 23 August 2025 with deliveries beginning on 20 September.
The Batman Edition is based on the BE 6’s Pack Three 79 kWh variant and debuts a Custom Satin Black exterior with Batman decals on the doors, R20 alloy wheels, Alchemy Gold-painted brake callipers and suspension, and special limited-edition badging. The Bat emblem appears across hub caps, panels, bumpers, windows, and the infinity roof, while carpet lamps project the logo. Inside, the cabin features a numbered brushed gold plaque, charcoal leather with gold halo detailing, suede upholstery with sepia stitching, and Bat emblems integrated into seats, dashboard, and control elements. A custom welcome animation, themed “Boost” button, and Batman-inspired exterior sound complete the unique touches.
Pratap Bose, Mahindra’s Chief Design & Creative Officer, stated the edition was conceived to be deeply personal and visually arresting, offering owners a piece of cinematic history. Warner Bros. Discovery executives emphasised Batman’s enduring appeal in India and its alignment with cutting-edge technology in electric mobility. The BE 6 Batman Edition will also offer optional home chargers at INR 50,000 for 7.2 kW or INR 75,000 for 11.2 kW units.
