Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has unveiled the Grand Vitara Phantom BLAQ Edition to commemorate a decade of its premium NEXA retail network. Available exclusively in matte black wrap, the limited-run edition embodies NEXA’s philosophy of refined sophistication and understated elegance, designed for customers who value style and exclusivity.
Offered only in the Strong Hybrid Alpha+ variant, the Phantom BLAQ Edition retains the Grand Vitara’s premium all-black interior with perforated faux leather upholstery and champagne gold accents. The SUV also boasts a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, and a 22.86cm (9-inch) SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, paired with a premium Clarion sound system. Safety features include the NEXA Safety Shield with six airbags, ESP, ABS with EBD, Hill Hold Control, a 360-degree camera, and a Head-Up Display.
Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing & Sales, MSIL, said the launch celebrates NEXA’s decade-long journey of delivering curated innovations. “The Grand Vitara Phantom BLAQ Edition captures the essence of indulgence while offering exceptional performance,” he noted. Since its debut, the Grand Vitara has achieved 300,000 sales in just 32 months, supported by a versatile powertrain range that includes Strong Hybrid, ALLGRIP Select, and S-CNG options.
With its bold exterior, advanced technology, and comprehensive safety package, the new edition aims to strengthen the SUV’s appeal in India’s competitive mid-size SUV market.
