
Maruti Suzuki India has achieved a major aftersales milestone with the inauguration of its 5,500th service touchpoint in Udaipur, Rajasthan. This latest addition, backed by its extensive dealer network, brings the company’s total service capacity to nearly 40,000 bays, capable of servicing up to 30 million vehicles annually. In FY 2024-25 alone, Maruti Suzuki serviced over 27 million vehicles — the highest ever in a financial year.
The Udaipur facility was inaugurated by senior service executives Mr. Ram Suresh Akella and Mr. Yasuhiro Kawai. Speaking on the occasion, Maruti Suzuki MD & CEO, Hisashi Takeuchi, reaffirmed the brand’s focus on service accessibility as a key purchase driver. He noted that 460 new service touchpoints were added last fiscal, with a target to add another 500 in FY 2025-26 — 91 of which are already operational. The company’s service network now spans 2,764 cities, reinforcing its leadership in customer support and post-sale convenience.
