Marking India’s 79th Independence Day, Matter has announced the launch of its nationwide Matter Energy Fast Charge Network. The move is tied to the company’s ‘Right to Charging’ campaign, which seeks to make access to both slow and fast charging a fundamental facility at every two-wheeler parking location across the country.
The infrastructure will be powered by Matter’s own 3kW fast charger, developed in-house and capable of charging the AERA from 0 to 80 per cent in 90 minutes. Integrated into the MatterVerse App, the system provides real-time location, availability and live charging updates, aiming to deliver a seamless user experience.
The company’s plan includes installing chargers in residential complexes, public parking spaces, commercial hubs and all Matter dealerships, alongside offering on-demand installations for riders. It will also integrate partner charging networks into its app for unified visibility and access.
Mohal Lalbhai, Founder and Group CEO, stated that by combining technology, infrastructure development, and advocacy, Matter aims to position the ‘Right to Charging’ as a driver of sustainable mobility and a practical solution to urban charging gaps.
