MG Motor India has launched its most performance-focused offering yet with the debut of the all-electric convertible Cyberster. With ex-showroom prices starting at INR 72.49 lakh for customers who pre-reserved and INR 74.99 lakh for new bookings, the Cyberster blends classic open-top design with contemporary engineering. Deliveries will begin on 10 August 2025.

The Cyberster is powered by a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup that produces 503 bhp and 725 Nm of torque. With a 0-100 kmph acceleration time of 3.2 seconds, it is the fastest MG ever offered in India. The vehicle draws power from a 77 kWh ultra-thin battery pack that delivers a certified MIDC range of 580 km. Its aerodynamic drag coefficient stands at 0.269 Cd, among the best in its class.

A key highlight is the scissor-door configuration and soft-top convertible roof, giving the Cyberster a distinct visual identity. The cabin features a triple-screen interface including a 10.25-inch central touchscreen, two 7-inch driver displays and high-end finishes with vegan leather and Dinamica suede upholstery. The BOSE audio system, paddle shifters for regen braking, and dual-zone climate control further add to the premium feel. Safety is supported by Level 2 ADAS, real-time driver monitoring and a full suite of braking and stability systems.

The inclusion of both a 3.3 kW portable and 7.4 kW wall box charger in the pricing suggests a push for convenience to early adopters. Bookings are open across 13 Indian cities through the MG SELECT Experience Centres and online. Offered in four dual-tone exterior colour schemes including Nuclear Yellow and Flare Red, the MG Cyberster brings sportscar design to India’s EV segment.
