Montra Electric has launched its latest three-wheeler cargo vehicle SUPER CARGO in Delhi. The vehicle is powered by a 13.8 kWh lithium-ion battery and delivers peak power of 11 kW with 70 Nm torque. It features a robust build, including a Boron Steel chassis, and offers a gradeability of 23%, making it suitable for diverse road conditions and cargo demands. Its spacious 6.2-feet tray deck and multiple cargo body variants including 170 cu ft and tray deck models, cater to a wide range of delivery applications.
Montra is also introducing a rapid 15-minute full charging option, in collaboration with Exponent Energy, which could become a game-changer for high-utilisation fleet operators. This feature, available on select variants, allows for faster turnaround and improved vehicle uptime. Additional features such as regenerative braking, hill-hold assist, reverse assist, and disc brakes point to a product developed with a deep understanding of safety, driver comfort and commercial needs.

Jalaj Gupta, Managing Director, TI Clean Mobility, emphasised the company’s strategic journey from passenger to first-mile and now into last-mile segments. The launch of the SUPER CARGO comes on the heels of the company’s earlier products like the SUPER AUTO and RHINO electric truck, indicating a deliberate expansion across various electric vehicle use cases. The presence of Exponent Energy in the mix also suggests Montra’s commitment to creating a supporting infrastructure ecosystem, not just vehicles.
With a starting price of INR 4.37 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi, post-subsidy), and backed by a five-year or 1.75 lakh km battery warranty, the SUPER CARGO aims to strike a balance between affordability and durability. Available in four colours and across more than 90 cities, the product is now open for bookings.
