The Italian motorcycle manufacturer plans to launch four products initially along with an extensive dealer network across the country.

Italian motorcycle brand Moto Morini has announced its plans to enter the India two-wheeler market in association with Adishwar Auto Ride India (AARI). The company said it plans to launch four products initially along with an extensive dealer network across the country.

The Moto Morini motorcycles are designed, and developed in Italy, and they adhere to required EU manufacturing standards to ensure superior vehicle quality, said the company in a press release. 

Vikas Jhabakh, Managing Director, Adishwar Auto Ride India said that with the introduction of Moto Morini, the company aims to cater to the requirements of Indian buyers in the premium mobility segment. 

Moto Morini was founded in 1937 by Alfonso Morini and was known for making lightweight, fast race bikes through the 50s and 60s. In 1946, the brand launched its first motorcycle, Turismo, with a two-stroke 125 cc engine. 

Earlier, Moto Morini had also manufactured motorcycles together with Mario Mazzetti under the brand name MM.
